Fans of a certain group don't know how to act when every song on an album doesn't sound exactly the same :eli:

BAHAMA is a bit too 2010s right down to that dubstep bridge...but I see the vision...and they sound amazing :clap3:

I always love when the girlies who need validation crawl out of the wood work. Mine, Licorice, Supernova, Live My Life, Supernova, Armageddon, Bahama and Prologue are all excellent. You girls lost :sorry:

Mine, Licorice and Set the Tone all sound like a bad long song :skull: Prologue is lame & childish

Supernova is too good to be on this album

+ what crawling out of the wood work are you talking about? I've always been very vocal about aespa here

Armageddon on track for a top 10 Melon debut so far...though I think it will be lower by the end of the hour

They are doing amazing so far though :clap3:

I hate how they had to close the album with the standard cheesy k-pop ballad.

Sorry but it's literally the first time they do a body of work properly, it's a clear mood and vibe.
2010 playlist with a contemporary twist mixed all over the tracks, it is cohesive and i was not expecting that considering that their bsides are most of the times horrendous.
This was very well conceived, studied and delivered.
First time aespa serves this level of quality all over the album and not only on the singles.

THANK YOU

There's obvious inspirations from Britney, SNSD, early Ariana like it's obvious what the through line is in this group of songs is. It's the Born This Way of the 2020s, it channels disparate sounds from a specific point in time into a specific vibe.

Oh they were really in their f(x) bag for Licorice :jonnycat:

The song is too short though!

I am BEYOND disappointed wtf what's happening

I literally just hid my KAOTY thread :biblio:

Literally ALL of their mini albums are better than this, these new b-sides make Life's Too Short sound like a masterpiece.

I was so hyped for this release like i'm a mega MY and i'm so confused right now..... :chick3:

I'm not even sure these will grow on me (hopefully they do) but they just sound so lifeless, unmelodic, and non-aespa. Like even the instrumentals go nowhere. Set The Tone and Live My Life were the only *kinda* gagging tracks. Armageddon gets repetitive literally on the first listen and has no replay value, easily their worst title. :rainy:

SUPERNOVA is KSOTY and doesn't deserve to be on this album..... :monkey:

Savage is a cohesive body of work... Armageddon isn't. :rip:

Its only cohesive aspect is the mediocrity of the album tracks

It was great to me. Blue Blood alone is better than 80% of Armageddon
