Realistically, it's all her boyfriend doings, she didn't get those gigs on her own. As far as Kpop celebrities go, it's novel I think? I don't know of anyone else who ventured outside of East Asia for work much. I'd think it's in line with the recent trend of Kpop influence growing overseas, and we should expect more collaborations between Korean celebrities and non-Korean companies.
