Someone has to. Enough with the astroturfing. We want facts, only facts. :rogue:

Imo, ADOR's statements are more coherent and align with MHJ character. Creative freedom, aversion for copycats and "inferior creative directors", refusal to bow down under intimidation or coercion. That's MHJ alright. She has been like that for the last 20 years. :dies:

HYBE saying she is attempting an impossible coup, and she is greedy for money is a bit silly, does not really match the timeline of events. All the random rumors they are spreading around, some of which are easily proven to be false don't make them look more trustworthy.

I'm not pro MHJ, if there is a clear proof she is doing something wrong, so be it. Until then. :gaycat5:

So looks like

@Mel. is the real winner here. I love how they're using all this HYBE mess to their advantage, and I think YGE will come out on top here.

Funny KISS OF LIFE & PURPLE KISS also shared they were training to sing without any backing track these days... The GIRLS are going to show who are SINGERS...

New Jeans is going to be dungeoned for a while, I think. This Japanese debut might be the last music we get from them for a long time. This is so unfair; Stray Kids is literally there. Please take them instead. Save us from their audio terrorism.

The way I feel so vindicated. Kept telling y'all HandMeDownJeans was copying NewJeans. Everything was so obvious. Even down to the thumbnails chosen for their stage performances :rip:

Unless a miracle happens, NJ as we know it is dead.

If MHJ fights HYBE in court, we are easily looking at a 1+ year hiatus.

If MHJ bows down to HYBE for the sake of the girls, they might resume their activities sooner but at what cost? Do the members even want this?

Kpop fans are responsible for the lack of respect and poor treatment their favorite idols receive when they are not taken seriously as professional artists. They are also responsible for how Kpop as a medium is regarded as a mediocre and inferior form of entertainment to other art forms and music genres, particularly Western music. They are the ones who perpetuate stereotypes about Kpop through their immature behavior and their disregard for the talent of producers and art directors involved in the industry.

There is a significant disconnection between the aspirations fans hold for their idols (critical acclaim, awards, Grammys) and the overall underappreciation of the medium in which these idols work. Idols and their teams are two sides of the same coin, both indispensable in creating the great body of work seen in Kpop.

Experienced and talented CEOs, art directors and producers like Min HeeJin are the Steve Jobs, Martin Scorsese and Pharrell Williams of Kpop. They have achieved tremendous contributions to technology and the arts with their work, and should be admired and congratulated, not disrespected, degraded and turned into a funny meme for the twitter circus to laugh at.

You can't have it both ways. Treat your idols AND THEIR TEAM to the same standard you want your idols to be treated. The way people go around treating MHJ like trash is really shameful and really embarrassing.

:clack:

you're right actually... one of the main examples of this is how jaden jeong came up with a unique and creative way to debut and promote loona. he didn't follow the typical kpop promotion and gave each members their own solo and created three sub units even before the full group debut so all of the girls already had solo materials before debut and most of them were even sent all over the world to film high budget music videos (predebut!!!). yet loona stans created an entire narrative claiming that the girls were mistreated... because they weren't tweeting selfies all day like all the others idols and weren't following the regular slave-like promo schedule :skull: completely forgetting that the loona girls already had everything most idols would want: QUALITY solo material and high budget music videos while being relatively popular globally. and the funniest thing is that despite this entire narrative of loona being mistreated by him, half of them ran back to him as fast as they could... and released this masterpiece

i actually thought of the same thing. even thought it happened on much smaller scales, jaden also suffered from BBC refusing to give him creative control to go on with loona's concept (and we all know how things ended up for them after he left...) before creating his own label... so it would be best for MHJ to do the same... in a perfect world she would be able to do this and take NJ with her, but idk if it's possible considering all the legal stuff...

Without their creative directors most likely their A&R... No they will not be the same.

Success wise it's another story.
