I don't think the vocals are the problem but they aren't super skilled dancers :biblionny: Their choreo are so bland I'm sorry

Exciting choreo isn't needed for a festival set.

Engaging the crowd and creating memorable moments within the set is more important.

Stage presence - check

Vocals - check

Dance - check

Now we need actually listenable songs, Sheesh alone ain't gonna cut it

:clack:

maybe hybe should've bought yg

we would have competent live acts

I think the difference btw BP and the rest, is even though they might not have serving outstanding vocals either, they had so many memorable parts during their sets that it overshadow every bad moments!

Also, the way they carried themselves is supernatural.

I lowkey still prefer their first Coachella set than born pink

I term of energy yeah same because they had so MUCH to prove in 2019, but it term of vocals, choreographies and stage design, 2022 was the better set.

Just watched le sserafim's stage, tbh the vocals are not THAT bad, sure there are some questionable moments, but overall it was ok-ish.

In my opinion, only very experienced groups should go to Coachella tbh. Yes, LE SSERAFIM lack in the vocal department but they're still pretty new and haven't really had like a proper tour yet or opportunities to grow as live performers. 1 year of nonstop touring and I bet they would improve a lot.

LSRM coachella...with the choreo intensity i'm surprised HYBE didn't even give them any backing track :deadbanana2: they sounded shouty and tired (which is reasonable

Yes, 2019 they were giving rookies in the best way possible

2022 was kinda superstar energy (better budget, sets, dancers etc)

I've never wanted Hybe to buy SM, but it might be necessary at this point, if only so they can get their hands on SM's vocal coaches.

Aespa vocals were good tbh it's just that their performance looked like it took 10 mins of preparations

Yup, but I think next year it's going to be Newjeans, I'm surprised they booked LSRFM before them.
