Damn if I was Austin (Taylor’s brother) I would be a little pissed at my well-off family selling our beach house just to fund our move across the country for my sister’s music dreams :deadbanana4:

I would be pissed that my dad was angry at “babysitting” me because he want to be at my sisters events instead.

Anyway, Austin is now employed by 13 management handling sync rights .

Weird credit-grabber.

If a man talks **** on email then I owe him nothing!

yeah but now he can have beach houses anywhere lol

I wanna judge mr swift so bad, but if I had the privilege, the networking and the money to believe in my kid's dream i'd do it too and talk like i'm a greta gerwig movie written by lena dunham too. and at least in his case it paid off BIG TIME. File it alongside Matthew Knowles and Joe Jackson in the ******* stage parent that had a point

This is unhinged :deadbanana2:  The amount of times he said "Andrea and Taylor think I'm overstepping, but-" "Andrea told me not to do it, but-"

It makes sense that Taylor is so close to Andrea.

If I ever received an email the length of a novella from anyone, I might just kill myself to teach them a lesson.

I was gonna say…. I have never in my life seen an email that long. If I ever received an email that long at my job, I would need to log off for the rest of the day after reading that. That is insane. Lol.

I mean, emails were basically a way to get all your info across as quickly as possible back then. It’s no different than us having text message conversations now, we just fragment them into smaller bits at a time.

Also I get emails half this long on the daily for my job, it’s pretty common in the financial industry :rip:

Damn Scott really poured a lot into making Taylor a success. I read the entire document and idk the guy seems to have something...

Daddy Swift really put in the WORK. Like father like daughter I guess. He doesn't just hand out guitar picks at Taylor's shows, he been greasing them wheels behind the scenes.

Hope he's enjoying his retirement, he's earned it. I guess he is since he shows up at every one of his daughter's concerts.

Girl, bye. These conversations come up in the black community consistently. Taylor, GaGa, Lana, etc. are some of the examples that always get discussed.

As much as i love Taylor this is one of the reasons why i dont find her life story that inspiring.
Is inspiring in so many ways and she clearly worked real hard to be listened and stand out but not like Hyper-Hyper-Inspiring

Same as Gaga who was born into big wealth  :gaycat3: they also lived in some of the cities with the most career opportunities in the whole planet
L.A / Nashville / New York City
they had so much backup to their dreams

Opposite to Rihanna who was livin in that Barbados shack and selling clothes and coconuts with her dad

or Shakira who's from a lower-middle class family in barranquilla. a random city in Colombia and had to work in restaurants and random places to fund her career in Bogota before winning that soap opera audition

Real rag to riches stories. From the developing world.

Exactly. These kinds of stories will always be more impressive than mediocre rich people congratulating themselves for being born into money and using that money to sustain generational wealth.
