from Poker Face to Judas Gaga was already on a big decline while Madonna -> Like a Virgin -> True Blue was consistent.

nah, The singles of Born This Way were so huge, The Born This Way Ball $183.9 million and the meat dress. How can be that a decline? The decline was Artpop.

Madonna scored a dozen Top 10 hits + five multi-platinum albums during her "flopping streak".

1990: #1 Vogue, #8 Keep It Together, #10 Hanky Panky

1991: #1 Justify My Love, #9 Rescue Me

1992: #1 This Used To Be My Playground, #3 Erotica

1993: #7 Deeper And Deeper, #14 Rain

1994: #2 I'll Remember, #3 Secret

1995: #1 Take A Bow, #6 You'll See

1996: #18 You Must Love Me (won the Academy Award and Golden Globe)

By 1996, she was already a living legend and this was before the massive Ray Of Light comeback.

Plus

1990: I'm Breathless (2x Platinum), The Immaculate Collection (11x Platinum)

1990: Erotica (2x Platinum)

1994: Bedtime Stories (3x Platinum)

1995: Something to Remember (3x Platinum)

1996: Evita (5x Platinum)

1998: Ray of Light (5x Platinum)

Madonnas success is actually not very impressive. The only reason she got famous was because she got in first and realized desperation and trashiness sells because people love to watch train wrecks for entertainment. Most of her music is actually very bad worsen by her paper thin prepubescent voice.

You stan someone who was relevant for a couple of years before she had to pull every tabloid stunt under the sun (her latest is a book with so many lies it belongs in the Fiction section, and did she address vehicluar child endangerment?) whose stans are well in their 40s. Awareness, meet self.

Congratulations on being void of any tact.
If you were self aware you wouldn't have written that or go off topic.

Maybe, but at least how this is shaping, the next 10 years don't look promising for Miss Ga, at least in music. :duck:

While in those 10 years Madge released ROL, Music and COTDF

The Immaculate Collection went Diamond and sold more than 30 million copies worldwide which is literally more than double what TF/FM sold. :skull::skull:

And that wasn't even a solo Madonna album.

The set-up :gaycat6:

Gaga has only one era the size of Like a virgin or True Blue.

Posted (edited)

Never. She never sold as many as Madonna. Madonna never did 1.5 album with repackage.l for gimmicks. She Never had as many hits as madonna ww. Her Tours flopped already too.

Just sit down.
