In this song she admits to being,

A severe alcoholic,

An unreliable narrator for her entire career,

A lonely loser with no real friends because she doesn't care about any of them,

In a very lonely house despite having a "boyfriend" at the time,

On the verge of falling apart despite having all that success because she knows it will never be enough for her,

A generally terrible person to be around with no redeeming qualities and much more....

 

And then advises her stans to stan someone else if they want to stan someone with morals...

This song deserves more character analysis.

It’s very hard to articulate the emotions this song evokes and the fact that Miley wrote it when she was 21 blows my mind, a true literary genius.
