PrismaticOwen Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 when you'll always find your way back home (taylor's version) is the closing track with a nostalgic video of her career + the eras tour + re-recordings doc disney+ special announcement ... then what?
littlebodybigheart Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 she wants to own her music…this has nothing to do with how big or small it would be 2
Miss Fortune Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 As a Taylor fan who only joined her journey at Red, I’ve been really enjoying the re recordings as it’s the first time I’ve taken to really listen and enjoy those albums. I’ve heard her debut ONCE and never revisited, so I’m excited to hear it with updated vocals & production. It feels like her re recordings have been a real chance for newer fans to get to know her, without needing to be there back then. And it would feel like a disservice to stop before that journey has finished. 6
Dula Peep Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 I bet she’ll follow it up with another new album so she won’t cares if it flops
Strawberry Bubble Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 Rerecording her debut is the only opportunity that she has for people to start appreciating this album. 1

Støned Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 (edited) No. Without debut, there would be no Taylor Swift that we know today. The album (though imperfect) is still one of her most important album of her career (even more important than reputation). I became a Swiftie because of that album. Debut TV needs to avenge the #5 peak position of the OG in the BB200. Edited December 28, 2023 by Støned 1
a_d_22 Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 (edited) i think there’s a lot more hype than people give it credit for that has to do with people being excited about the new vocals and production and i think there’s gonna be a lot of tosotd moments (looking specifically at cold as you,the outside, and invisible) Edited December 28, 2023 by a_d_22
on the line Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 She will still sell double (at bare minimum) what the other girls do with their new albums after years of hype.
ErnieSwift Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 (edited) Absolutely not. I’m tired of debut not being appreciated. This is the album that showed everyone who Taylor Swift really is, the album that had teenagers listening to country radio in a genre that back then catered to adults in their 30s+, the album that was written entirely by a 13-15 year old girl, yet showed so much maturity and heart. And the vault tracks are to DIE FOR. I can’t wait for Dark Blue Tennessee to be properly released. Honestly, this is the re-recording I’m looking forward to the most. I’m not at all concerned about TS11 right now. Edited December 28, 2023 by ErnieSwift 3

Ron Ng Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 It's not about the success, it's about her owning her music, so stop
Peroxide Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 (edited) Hmmm... I could see her doing a surprise release for debut. Whereas I suspect Rep TV will have a roll-out similar to Speak Now TV or 1989 TV. Debut will do 300K-500K first week and that's fine. Those are still numbers every other girl in the game would kill for. But to answer your question, no, debut is going to get a re-recording. The original only peaked at 5 and it has TERRIBLE international peaks... the TV will amend that. Edited December 28, 2023 by Peroxide
Badgalbriel Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 Nonsense. Debut is one of her best albums 1
Sailor Moon Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 Her debut is solid and one of the best debut albums ..
Alina M Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 Cold as you with matured vocals incoming smash hit
Squall Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 Quote reputation TV (est. 2 mil) According to who? Stop setting her up
Mr. Mendes Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 Not when it’s literally the one that stands to benefit the most from this. To this day debut is kind of a forgotten part of her canon and I think, despite not enjoying the album myself, it’s a great chance to finish this process by closing the circle. Tastes aside, debut was what began this journey and it’s arguably the most important album to reclaim. It’s what everything else got built on.
Kimi Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 Yes it’s useless, there’s a reason it had no slots on eras tour
