Cocaine is a major part of the illegal drug trade and legalising will seriously damage criminal profits. The illegal drug industry is extremely damaging, not just for the people who buy drugs but for anyone who gets sucked into dealing or is trafficked by these gangs. Also legalising substances like coke allows regulation and at least if you're going to buy it, you know exactly what you're getting, it won't be adulterated with a whole bunch of other chemicals. I'm never going to be pro drug use, but unfortunately people are going to do drugs whether they're illegal or not.
