There’s nothing wrong with non-rap though lol. And I feel that the backlash that she got from idiotic MEN is what led her to make music that sounds less unique. I get that she prefers making rap music and that’s 100% fine, but she shouldn’t discredit her own pop music that at times was miles better than what the pop girls were making.

It was definitely her First Lady (Gaga) of Rap era. They were trying so much to push and sell this Lady Gaga persona lol, but since the beginning the rap part of the album was always the best. And she didn’t lie when she said the Re-Up was a step up.
Pinkprint is her best album no doubts, and she knows that.

Except she was much more tolerable then than now, and her feminine-raps/bops made her standout much more and she was easily swayed by the patriarchy in rap with dumb MEN who said she can't do any genre other than hardcore rap if she wants to be a female rapper meanwhile Drake drowns us with dancehall and Lil Wayne can make rock **** and everyone praised him for How to Love. The double standards is disappointing, but its effect on Nicki and her failure to recognize it is even more so.

 

And ONIKA, since you're obsessed with ******* charts to try to prove PF2 is superior....

You guys reminded me of Whip It. Like damn, I just streamed it and it was so f***ing good. I was pissed she picked Pound The Alarm for the single instead of Whip It.

 

That album also had Beez In The Trap which sounds so fresh still in 2023. One of her best <3

Soulless is literally everything she’s released after TPP  I miss Nicki circa 2010-2013 so much  She was so over the top and camp but she had the talent and charisma to pull it off and make it look good. Now she just takes herself way too seriously.

Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up is better than PF and PF2. This trend of hating on your old music to prop up your newer mid music is annoying (Gaga, Miley, Nicki, etc.)
