Nicki drags Pink Friday Roman Reloaded: “there was no soul”

I think Nicki hates that era because of the Grammy debacle. It didn’t start the era right and got her permabanned from Grammys.

The way PF:RR-TRU is kinda my favourite project of hers. :skull: It's an absolute mess but individually there are more good tracks on this record than anything she's released since.

the RE-UP has like 30 tracks, of course it's gonna be full of filler, although it does have some standouts

She doesn't think this new album has soul surely?

Roman Reloaded was one THE albums of 2012 for me :weeps:. It was so fun, and a good blend of pop and hip-hop. She hates it because the hip-hop community put her on ice for her doing full on pop :deadbanana4:

Same... it used to pump me up while working out at the gym.  It was that album. :jonny5:

but her new album does? :rip:

many songs in pf2 are lyrically raw, vulnerable and deep

she's not calling something like pound the alarm bad, but to say it has soul is kidding yourself

I disagree, I felt like she put her whole ***** into this album.

If pf2 is soul imma need her to sell it back :khalyan2:

Sorta true but what’s with all the Queen disrespect? It’s not great but it was supposed to be her definitive body of work when it came out and now the Barbz call it Queef and Nicki’s okay with to being second to last. PF2 is easily her worst album. Devoid of fun, bad production, and mired in dead end songs.

She edited and put Queen up to Top 3 as she should:ahh:

I feel bad that she can't recognise the talent that is Whip It.

I love how she says "The Re Up gave us Freedom" just like how a fan would

Whip It is criminally underrated, she deserved the success of Starships:jonny5:

Didn't she? Starships is good imo too but Whip It is the ideal gay anthem

My top 3 were Beez In Tha Trap, I Am Your Leader, and Champion.  They always made me feel invincible and gave me that extra push while lifting weights. :jonny5:

I listened to the pop tracks while doing cardio though. :jamming:

the pop songs are really good though

PFRR is so fun and creative at the same time, it’s sad that she doesn’t like it.
It’s not her best album but still better than Queen.

I agree with her though.

She didn’t lie. Re- Up >>>>>>> Roman Reloaded

Only the Rap half was good. Most of the pop tracks are garbage and some of the worst in her discography so she’s correct :clap3: Of course the popfags are upset

EDIT: not her thinking let me calm down is better than crying game :deadbanana2: we hate her again

Pinkprint is her strongest body of work, followed by Pink Friday being her most nostalgic. The rest are all bottom of the barrel
