DamianSolo Posted December 22, 2023 Posted December 22, 2023 I was a natural at it. Before that, I had only driven, maybe, one or two times. It was easy enough. The only mistake I made was thinking the shoulder, on a certain stretch of road, was a turning lane.
Troll Idle Posted December 22, 2023 Posted December 22, 2023 Mine was mean af and then he died of cancer and then I got a new one who was mean too. I really wonder why so many driving teachers are assholes. It was a really traumatic experience for me.
Comedor Posted December 22, 2023 Posted December 22, 2023 (edited) I left my instructor shookED when I told him I had passed my driving test. I still remember his face, he was NOT confident in me at all, he actually thought I was joking. I hate straight men. Edited December 22, 2023 by Comedor
BletaRexher Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 My mom first taught me how to drive at 15. Whenever we’d drive Work From Home was being payola’d to every station so it became our driving song. Then I took drivers ed that summer and on the 2nd day of it I lost my virginity off of grindr before class (yes I was still 15). I was one of the worst in the class and my instructor had to grab my wheel a lot. Then I got 2 DUIs when I was in active addiction and moved to a city where I don’t need to drive a car and feel happier without one. (I also stopped drinking and have been sober since July)
ICLDXU4HS Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 It was an old white short-tempered choleric and a lot of getting yelled at instead of being properly taught. Bad experience. After getting my license at 17 I was only allowed to drive under the supervision of an adult until I turned 18 (it's how it works here) so basically my dad which wasn't much better. Parking still gives me anxiety and panic attacks.
