Easily the TRINITY of Mario Kart games but which is your fave?

 

I’ve recently been playing all three again and I can easily say Double Dash is THE best  My literal childhood!

 

Wii is fun but it’s so unbalanced and the AI can be INSUFFERABLE sometimes.

 

I’ve been recently playing 8 Deluxe, getting all the trophies, starts and parts and it’s kind of underwhelming. Again, it’s fun but it doesn’t feel challenging at all. Even on 150 and up CCs it all feels….meh. Plus, they missed the opportunity on having some character specific carts (Birdo and the baby carts????) and they completely ruined Baby Park

MKW will always be THAT Mario Kart game for me. I understand it's unbalanced but it was so fun for me. The fact that it still has a dedicated online community speaks volumes to how great of a game it is.

 

I totally agree with 8 Deluxe, I've tried to get into it but I just can't.

Mario Kart WII will forever be one of my favorite games ever 

the memories of playing with my sisters and friends. and we still play it too! 

 

Double Dash is amazing as well, but I'm not a big fan of 8 Deluxe... still like it though

MK8 for me. I was working a shiddy call center job at the time, but I took some time off to go buy myself a Wii U with MK8 and I played it for sooooo many hours (beat all the time trials) — that and Wind Waker HD

8 is fun too, I just wish they'd bring back the fake out mystery boxes

 

I used to love dropping them mfs in the line and making everyone crash into them

I actually loved hiding them in places too and was so disappointed they removed them  and the character specific items from double dash

64 is my favorite. It's very nostalgic for me. It was the very first video game I ever played.

 

Double Dash & 8 complete the trinity.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe it’s the latest one but it’s still fun and packed with nostalgia.

N64 is the probably the most iconic N64 game with only GoldenEye and Zelda even coming close to it.

I tried going back to it and the courses are still cute and one of the best in the franchise but I couldn't stand the AI

i tried to play at this video game arcade the other day and I was TERRIBLE

Wii is also solid though, and N64 is iconic

Wii, DS is a close #2. DS has the best battle mode/stages.

Nintendo Wii is best (probably due to to memories of long nights racing friends whilst drinking)

 

I love Mario Kart Tour but the multiplayer against AI is worse than useless, it crashes a lot despite fibre-optic internet connection and drops experience points due to crashing!  Reported several times to Nintendo and cancelled my subscription due to this issue.
