poll Did Caroline P. Really drop pop album of the year

It’s rare to see an album slay with critics to the level Caroline  did on all fronts (cover, singles, albums) 

 

maybe not since the likes of body Talk and Melodrama

 

is it really the best pop album of the year  tho

The album is really good but I wouldn't call it "pop" without qualifiers. These songs wouldn't be played on radio with 1 or 2 exceptions. It's truly excellent though from start to finish

Well, pop =/= radio. That would be radio pop, which is a qualifier itself.

i was using pop more  as an umbrella term for Xpop genres and well...it is art pop and synthpop
