music forum, not forum about what Youtube "critics" with no legitimacy say about music.

He’s the most followed / consumed content creator when it comes to music reviews. A lot of what he says goes viral. You don’t have to agree with him, but he’s pretty noteworthy especially in the indie music scene. Most people who are super mad over him are usually upset because he said he didn’t like an album they like.

You didn't understand what I said, I didn't question if he had influence or not. I am very familiar with him, all the way back from his Grimes album reviews

I just wondered why we care so much about the opinion of a man making music reviews on YouTube (just like I would question Ajay and that random Dylan guy), knowing that he will inevitably make content way too fast to truly appreciate the music and stand on his edgy opinions just to generate attention (my main point being the Ultraviolence Review and him backtracking years later).

You’ve just described almost every major music critic, congrats.  The only difference is that his reviews are on YT, let’s be honest.  You just don’t like him, just say that and move on.  There are far worse critics at NYT, Pitchfork, and RS whose review scores actually count than this harmless flannel wearing nerd’s opinion.
