These critics going back and revising scores needs to stop. Stand by what you said.

I don’t agree. People’s opinions change. It’s not like he deleted the original.

give me one reason why we should still pay so much attention to his opinions...

You weren't harsh, Fanny. You were HONEST. Then you changed your mind, and that's good.

I'm just watching the part of his video where he says that Lana's vocal performance on the album is very weak

I guess I'm not musically trained... Is it actually weak, and I just don't know enough about singing to notice? :rip: I've always loved the way she sounds on UV and thought the high and reverby vocals fit perfectly within the rest of the arrangements.

When you compare her vocals on UV and NFR/ Ocen Blvd you hear her huge vocal evolution. She got so much better over the years, so yes, UV vocals are kinda bad next to current Lana.

But people's feelings towards music change all the time :deadbanana: there are albums I used to hate but now love and used to love but now hate! Don't see why critics should be held to any different standard

This. Idk why ATRL acts like people can’t change their minds :rip: I don’t even agree with half the **** I said yesterday during breakfast :rip:

His opinion is no more important than your own. I have always found him to be a pretentious p***k. I can’t believe some people actually stan him as if he were an actual musician.

BTD made me a Lana fan but I will never forget the first time I heard the opening strains of “Cruel World” and knew something in her artistry had shifted to a whole other level.

This just shows that critics are super influenced by public opinion and don't care about reviewing the art
