I've never viewed him as a great singer or even a great performer. Justin Bieber's voice is much better than his try hard MJ wannabe voice. 

 

He has good music but he it's all dated now. He has 0 classics.

At his peak he was easily one of the most talented writers and performers of his generation. Everyone seemed to be in agreement of this up until 2013 or so. It's incredible how quickly and completely his stature deteriorated after that. Sometime between Can't Stop the Feeling and the Superbowl people decided they didn't like him anymore. Then when the MOTW album sucked ass, he seemed to have turned into a **** performer overnight, it was a wrap.
