Dr. Alexander Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 I can’t believe her and Angela Bassett are the same age Let me keep my next comment to myself 12 17
BOOM! Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 This is so creepy for whatever reason... 7 1 2
getBusy Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 “I’m so high, I think i love you” please someone tell me that’s part of the show bc it’s all very embarrassing. And i love her so much but this ain’t it. 2 6
Simple Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 Why is she touring ? She doesn’t sound good and this performance looks very tacky 4 2 2 1 20
Popular Post Jjang Posted December 19, 2023 Popular Post Posted December 19, 2023 I’ll forever respect the performer she was in the 80s and 90s and her overall discipline well into her 50’s but at this point the magic has turned to tragic After several health issues and reaching the age 65 I expected her performance to take a new shape as opposed to still trying to “bring it” which just looks awkward now. A Roger Waters style tour with less emphasis on movement and more emphasis on stage direction and storytelling could work very well for her. But it seems like she has other points to prove. 26 5 1 8
SoldierofLove Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 Looks like she surrounds herself with dancers in case she falls, which is smart!
Popular Post John Slayne Posted December 19, 2023 Popular Post Posted December 19, 2023 (edited) the haters here are pathetic. the show is acclaimed and amazing to witness live. i feel lucky that i got to see a legend perform live in London this month. the best concert I've ever been to. she brings energy and actually sings live. it'll be interesting to see if ATRLs current faves will be able to do that when they're that age. let's be real, certain girls are already stiff in their 30s... Popular Post GlamSlam Posted December 19, 2023 Popular Post Posted December 19, 2023 Let's see if those hating can even walk properly, let alone dance and put on a 2 hour show when they're 65. Something tells me they'll be overweight frumps with no energy by the time they're 50, let alone Madonna's age. 21 6 2 2
Reginald Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 It seemed like a very light fall tbh. Hope she's okay 2

The fans don't want to hear it but Madonna is not free, atleast not in the way that she was able to convey in the old days. She doesn't need to "disappear" for being old but she should also allow herself to age and reinvent the show and not feel obligated to match what she was doing 20, 30 years ago. Sometimes holding onto our past selves is a prison of its own. 7 1 4
readytowind Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 (edited) The haters sit and talk **** with no money spent. I figure their favorites can't move but retire at her age. Im sure their favorites shows suck and will be boring as hell. Even some younger girls shows are just ****. They can only wish as good as madonna shows. on the line Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 She probably saw all the empty seats and got tired from starting the show so late. What a messy show. 1 4
liquiddiamonds Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 (edited) I have no problem with Madonna being sexual at this age. It's always been her thing and she won't change just because of aging. No one expects her to tour an orchestral version of her music or just perform her ballads, etc BUT I don't agree with how the production has been done for this tour. It's not a good idea to have those young dancers groping and touching her, especially while doing aggressive choreo with hair and body. It's a recipe for an accident and she can hurt herself. Reminder that her fall during the BRITs was also caused because of a dancer. She can and should feel free, but she shouldnt risk harming herself over it. I'd have staged the dancers in a separate area and have her more isolated doing the vocal work and less straining moves with only hands and posing. We can see that she's having a hard time controling her breathe and none of these songs are vocally challenging. Knowing Madge she probably wants to be with the dancers and giving her best physical choreo work, but she could have definitely benefit from letting them carry the visual spectacle while she just performs her legendary hits. Sis the dancers are not about to jump her. She fell during the Brit awards because of a wardrobe malfunction, not a dancer. Madonna is fine. Only thing I agree with is that i wanted a different artistic direction for this tour. 1
