regardless of when and who is streaming, it should be acknowledged that this album is truly a streaming giant. Cardi really did her big one with this album. 5 years later and this album is STILL making waves.

Lil Wayne) - had them SHAKING in their literal boots and they just knew they had to act fast to get rid of her before her domination killed them all.

At this point, IDRGAF what worked and what didn't, I don't stan Cardi solely because of her stats and achievements. I just know that artists can be popular one day and lesser so the next, and that the pendulum was never always going to remain in Cardi's favor - the general public is fickle. I also know that if Cardi were to release a song as good as WAP and Up - even stans will admit that Hot **** and Bongos were not that great - the pendulum might swing back in her favor.  

 

So who knows? Nicki Minaj has never been consistently successful, and I don't mean that as a drag, it's just fact. She's had her fair share of hits and hit features but she's also had flop, or at least underperforming, singles, and it took her over a decade to score her first, proper, #1. So why should Cardi not be held to the same standards? 2024 could be another year of Cardi underperforming for her 2017-2021 standards - though Tomorrow 2 made a big splash, went Top 10, is the most successful female rap song of 2023 on Apple Music, and Hot ****, Bongos, Put It On Da Floor Again went Top 15, which really isn't bad at all, in my opinion - or she could re-peak with another smash era. Let's see. I'll support her either way.

 

But genuinely though, although I am not a fan of her, I hope you enjoy all the new releases from your fav
