He is mad dumb - he had this song on the vault for years, was changing “creative directions” every other day and Nicki had to re-write her verse (he even wanted to put it on his Christian album so she had to make a Christian version lol). He even made them film a video about it. The song has leaked and is overplayed. Already went viral, never released it. He suddenly decides to release it now because he knows he can probably get an easy hit. She is over it and doesn’t want it to get in the way of her own body of work. Obviously he hadn’t done any contractual agreements, so that is why he can’t release it.

 

he shot himself in the foot. It would be nice for us to be able to add it officially on our playlists but as Nicki said “that ship has sailed a long time ago”
