No. Taylor is not the first one to have different physical variants for standard and deluxe, in fact, lots of artists did this in physical/digital era. Taylor put the standard version on streaming platforms first and then she released the deluxe version. So what Taylor has done is completely compliant. But in Nicki’s case there is only one version on streaming platforms and her vinyl on contains only half of the songs.

That's not always true though. For example, they changed Billboard rules midweek when Dua was predicted to go #1 AND they audited her sales. I get auditing I guess? but to change the rules midweek so she loses the #1 by one point was CLEARLY pettiness on their side. That same week, one of their authors / editors posted a defamatory article about her to billboard's opinion piece page.  They do these types of things with artists they do not like. It's not some fair tracking mechanism that is absolved of bias. Billboard CLEARLY has biases and exerts rules for some and not all.

HDD has been beefing with Billboard for years. They've been questioning their methodology and have called them out / made fun of them whenever something sketch happened.

They have no reason to conspire to "take her down" or f*** with her numbers and they still gave her that 200k prediction.

Two possibilities: Either she is lying or someone lied to her and pulled those 300k out their a**.

 

And IF the number is correct, why does she care about BB counting those sales or not? She's still going #1, the money is still going to her pocket.

Right. People talk about kpop groups and their 5775457788 album versions but western artists are not any better. There’s not a single reason an album should be having like 10 different vinyl variants. **** has gotten insane.
