Wait I love Nicki but the meltdowns and the thread would be otherworldly. The Kind of thread I cancel Friday night plans for. Also agree with the other user who said she’s doing this because she didn’t outsell IOP, I love Nicki I really do and I’ve bought every album up to this point, but I had a feeling “something” would happen if she wasn’t 1k above Cardi. The 300k to 200k seems fishy. If the album was better she would have, but I decided not to get a physical or digital copy but I only liked 7 songs. I may buy it later if some grow on me but for now streaming is fine.

I'm not really sure what everyone is up in arms for. It's not the first time she rants, and its not going to be the last time. Its really whatever, you guys can keep "lashing" her if thats what makes you happy. Its not stopped anything.

People just always have this energy where Nicki just has to accept everything and stop complaining. There have been multiple threads on here this week calling her album a flop and an "underperformance". And calling 200k bad so she isn't bugging. She might be overacting, but there have been many many instances of injustice in the music industry when it comes to her.

Yeah but who cares if people are calling it a flop or underperforming? She’s worth +$150 million  in the words of Nicki “I got beef with being broke”. She’s not, and whether the sales get filtered out or not she’s still filthy rich. She’s a rap mogul, she’s worth millions, she’s broken dozens of records, she has hundreds of awards, hundreds of billboard hits, still pretty, still ended up married with a son, etc etc. Any other person would be grateful. She comes off as bitter that every single person in the world doesn’t bow down and respect her as the Queen of Rap like how people do with MJ being the King of Pop. She wants to be the undisputed Queen of Rap so badly as if people aren't entitled to dislike her or her music. She’s debuting at #1 with 200k+ sales, THIRTEEN years into her mainstream career, damn near 20 if you include the Hoodstar era. Like what more can she want? No one feels bad for her because she has everything, but everything isn’t good enough. What is it gonna take for her to feel satisfied with her hard work?
