I live in a very Conservative Suburban town, but sometimes I be Blasting Girly Pop & Gangsta Rap music so loud that sometimes I forget just how loud my car System is:celestial2:

And I stop at a Red Light and people just look over at me crazy. But IDGAF.

but I’m kinda a hypocrite cuz people that Blast thier music louder are so annoying to me too, but I do it all the time🤭 it’s whatever. How do yall feel about people that Bump thier music in residential areas?

Well, that kind of the thing and why people look over when you do it :coffee:. They are living in the suburbs to have some sort of peace and silence.

For my part Im all for blasting music in the car and sing out loud, but mostly is areas where I won't disturb others' peace, like in  noisy places or in the road.

It’s annoying to be honest. No one needs to hear your music.

I can't Shazam their songs fast enough sometimes and I'm afraid I'm missing some bangers. :chick3:

Death penalty. 2nd in line to people who play music/videos from their phone speakers in public spaces.

I have a Bang and Olufsen 3D sound system built into my car. You best believe I’m using it to its full potential and hearing those details in the music.

One of my fav things to do while driving cuz it just shows how good my music taste is compared to other people

Being that I very rarely like what people are blasting, I don't care to hear what they're listening to. The only time I find it annoying is if I'm at a gas station and someone is deciding to play their music for the whole station and block to hear.

death to all of them

It's pretty selfish honestly. There's no need for your music to be that loud and no one wants to hear your music when they're out minding their business, especially if it's a quiet area. It's the same with people who play their music on trains and buses without headphones. You're just being anti-social for the sake of it.

That's what cars are for tbh. Anyone who gets mad over someone driving past them with their music on needs to get over themselves, it only lasts like a minute.

Blasting music on a bus (or even talking too loud on the phone) is very different imo

it only bothers me late night/early morning.

otherwise i dont care, be happy and enjoy the music esp if the song playing is a bop.

I mean, I just don't get why people that do it couldn't listen to loud music on the car with the windows closed? Like, the sound is better when the windows are closed too, so it feels deliberate.

I don't like when people blast lyrics with sexist and homophobic lyrics. One time someone blasted a track where literally every sentence had the F slur :mazen:

One time it got real bad when it was about 2am. It was middle of the week. In a poor, blue collar neighborhood. Someone basically idled in our block with music blasting like mad, actually woke me up. Our neighbor's baby was crying like mad, so the dad went out with a gun and threatened to shoot the guy if he doesn't stop the music.

Don't blast music after the sun goes down. We're all trying to survive, especially in poorer areas and that wasn't the first time I've almost been a witness to murder because someone's disrespectful to the struggles of those around.

let’s focus on the real evil : people blasting their shitty music while walking or biking through the city :biblio:

It’s a complete non-issue. Especially

If the windows are rolled up and it’s muffled.

Girl what? the same logic could be used saying it’s selfish to expect people to lower their music because it’s “to loud” for you.  I would assume they’re driving by or at a red light, so it’s for what a minute or two at most you endure it?

Ot: I honestly have no problem with them and sometimes i discover new music that way :michael:

If you're in a public place you should respect people around you. The vast majority of people (at least where I am) don't blast out their music with their windows rolled down, so I don't understand why some people don't seem to be able to listen to music at a regular volume.

I don't understand your logic here either. I'm not saying I "expect" anything, I just don't like it. Me rolling my eyes or thinking "what a clown" as someone drives past shaking the ground with their music is not selfish or equivalent to disturbing random people.

I feel sorry for them that they'll probably be completely deaf by the age of 50...
