I get your point though, it's going to take a bit longer for all electric vehicles to be more accessible. Unfortunately fiascos like this just give ammunition to those opposed.

I feel, I just got a new car for under $20k (and that was at the very top of my budget ) hopefully by the time I'm ready for my next car there will be more affordable electric options

This lol. The sensationalism around this story is insane, calling it a "recall" is completely misleading when it's just a simple software update that automatically downloads when the car is connected to Wi-Fi. With that being said, I hate Elon!
