I'm sure they'd either get sold off to either Universal or one of the tech giants like Apple or Amazon. There's too many valuable IPs that any of the big players would want for them to just disappear (or for their IPs and streaming service to, anyway). But jfc, Zaslav's dumbass really ran this company into the ******* ground

I hope Warner Bros TV Shows will still be available somewhere on streaming :weeps:

Not to defend Zaslav, because he's a massive piece of s*it, but I'm not sure anyone could have saved them after AT&T. They really had no idea what they were doing and left the company in a significantly worse place than when they acquired it during a pivotal time in changing industry practices. Obviously Zaslav has not made any strides in progress or morale, not to mention his infamous reputation for being an absolute prick, but it's looking like they need a miracle or to sell (when they can) at this point.

They've already begun licensing certain HBO shows to Netflix to help recoup some costs. So I wouldn't worry too much about this, also if WMD ends up selling years down the road, I'm sure their cache will be kept intact. Though there are growing concerns about pure streaming shows/films getting erased from services for tax-cuts without any physical releases, I think WB shows should largely be okay.

They need a new looney tunes show season!

They need to chill for a few years and focus on restructuring and making smaller indie films and shows like A24 and low cost movies like Joker.  Put the DC universe on hold until they can recoup costs.

And to think so many of my favorite properties and franchises are under them. If they started to sell things off, that would truly be the end of that empire. But, I really wouldn't mind if Disney bought and owned DC Comics. They might as well.

imagine him deleting from existence a majority of their programming and the company still goes under :toofunny3: what an idiot , and he’ll still find another job / be a billionaire after it’s all said and done

I feel bad for Yakko, Wakko and Dot. I hope they don’t get evicted :emofish:

It’s “dire” yet somehow, there will still be enough money for shareholders for stock buybacks and Zaslav’s $180 million salary.

Waiting for Universal to buy Harry Potter rights as we speak :clap3:

Tony Khan is waiting for Warner to announce new TV deal for AEW on TNT/TBS channels any day now, but looks like they're gonna cancel AEW after their TV expires next year in December, or give them lower money contract than previous already low deal. YIKES.
