It's so crazy this was a decade ago, I remember forcing my parents to take me to Best Buy to buy the physical CD. Partition still my favorite.

She kinda had to acknowledge self-titled. It's what gave her the monumental "music not the charts" career pivot she needed (and the start of us getting ignored and suffering while other fanbases continue to eat content to obesity). This was a crucial time for her, deciding how to cement her legacy. This was supposed to be a completely different album, a standard Beyoncé release. Thank God for Boots.

I wouldn't be mad with wide releases for "Rise Up" (only available on Amazon streaming), and "God Made You Beautiful" (bonus track from "Life Is But A Dream") as well. Remove "Blow (Remix)", add your first four, and these two to the end of the streaming editions of the Platinum edition.

What a LEGENDARY ERA. The 12th I was in London celebrating with my boo and I remember saying to him in French  "This would be so cool if Beyoncé surprise released her album today with videos and everything". Nothing happened but when I woke up the day after I felt this urge to go on Twitter and the rest is HERSTORY!

Still in love with NO ANGEL and glad she included it in the celebratory video

Still her best album, the music, the visuals, the whole special mood of the album

Her spectacular detachment from the random Popstar to a legend in the making :clap3:

Redefined how albums should be and changed her career forever. :clap3:

A historic move and elementary album that created "Queen Bey". She really came in swinging and fearless. Such a bold move that introduced experimental Beyonce to us - the one who isn't afraid to try out a new sonic landscape, the one who isn't confined by industry rules. Beyonce the trailblazer was born with this album/era. She really did that
