Hmmmm I feel like her new (?) stans are really hyping her up & getting a little ahead of themselves.

The dancing is nice in a... cheerleader kinda way, but her little baby talk-y voice ain't doing it for me and these songs ain't bad but they also ain't much either.

She has great potential though, nice to see a new girl trying, get her the right song and the right styling and she'll be on fire. :clap3:

I didn’t like this, she just needs to do a headset mic and commit to the choreo

This standing and half singing while her dancers are going hard is just awkward

I agree to a certain degree. But she's doing this on purpose. Because we all know what happened to Britney once she put the headset on. She started to dance more and only do shakey ad libs here and there and then she started getting a reputation for it.

She's very smart and so is the team behind her. The awkward moments are to prove she is SINGING while then HANDING the mic off to dance and perform. She can slowly phase out the mic for a headset in the next era. But this very needed so she can't be labeled a certain way when she has just started her career.

It’s giving less problematique Camilla Cabello, without a Havana. She’s getting a lot of credit for something somebody like Tinashe does better and with great material.

She’s a gifted performer & that’s appreciated - but the material is not materialing & there’s nothing particularly unique about her vocal or delivery.

I want to be glad there’s at least someone attempting to revive this style of popstar, but it’s like they forgot the music needs to actually be danceable/notable.

We love a pop girl who WORKS for her music instead of sitting lazily at home selling clothes makeup shoes etc

I fear she’ll pull a Doja by TM4 but yes

Tinashe’s been given credit since 2014. Unfortunately her label issues and having to go independent kept her from mainstream success, but it was never from a lack of hype.

How is she not full yet with the way she's been EATING lately? :clap3:

That said, it'll be exciting when she gets bigger and works with other choreographers cause this routine didn't really showcase her dance skill as much as it could have.

Hmm. She needs to decide whether she'll lip-sync more and give us harder choreo or do more vocally

cuz right now this mix of being in the middleground at both ain't really that captivating.

also adlibing the whole song is kinda weird

I agree, she needs to do only choreo on the last chorus and not be afraid of critics

I don't understand how people question this girl's talent and pop star factor. She serves cvnt with every performance and puts a pretty decent show. I am seriously stanning her.

that dance break gave me britney flashbacks, nobody does heavy choreo anymore so it's such a fresh air since she's doing it so effortlessly. and yeah, head mic would've been ideal :toofunny3:

also y'all calling her faceless, give her time, this is like her 1st proper album, she's getting there. i had to get used to her voice, it's so cursive-y but i really love some songs from her album (we're not alike, guilty conscience..) and def keeping an eye on her.
