To some degree, yes. The full version of the album would require 2xLP to be complete. Additionally this will probably just incentivize labels to release even shorter versions of albums they can have produced far in advance to inflate their first week numbers.

I would say at least Midnights had the original 13-track album on vinyl. The 3am edition was technically released afterwards. Till this day, the standard Midnights is 13 tracks and still available on streaming and iTunes. Unlike Pink Friday 2, because Nicki truly is selling an incomplete album
