Finally performed it! Honestly Olivia has the second best work ethic for a pop girl this year after Taylor. She’s really out there promoting GUTS and putting each song in the spotlight for different performances, even album tracks. She has a lot of material out at the same time and she’s handling wonderfully

All this big promo in one week is kind of serving old school big pop girl. I happened to catch this last night by accident and it was a good performance, vocals and set-up were on-point, and I really loved the dreamy aesthetic with the satin nightgown-type dress, silver jewelry, and Olivia and her choir of background singers engulfed in fog - very pretty and goth-y.

I have to hand it to her, for the past couple of weeks she has utilized every opportunity at her disposal (Tiny Desk, SNL, Colbert) to showcase all the different facets of her. This is giving Gaga level showcasing, where we're getting live band with lots of instrument playing in one, over the top theatrics and complicated set pieces in another, and then a classic vocal-focused performance... she's doing it all and I think her 3rd album is going to be even bigger than GUTS.

 

This kid is next level and only just getting started.
