No pop hits, Nicki hasn't surpassed Superbass or Anaconda

She's so chart obsessed that it blinded her from the ability to make a solid, focused body of work. Most of the album is her throwing random sounds to the wall hoping to get some kind of TikTok soundbite out of it

The music isn’t good

I was shocked ..

Nicki failed to recreate Automatic 2.0, but once Pink Friday 2: Roman Reloaded comes out with EDM and electropop bangers again, it's game over for ATRL

She started the album by turning another artist into a Chipette

She’s about to have an album that made 170-190k, which could rise to over 200k, she’s dominating Apple Music. I don’t think anything went wrong.

No female rapper may catch up to her pure sales for week 1 with their new albums 🤭

Consulting with Twitter to decide her album release date is probably partially to blame for the production that sounds like it was mastered in a porta-potty.

writing camps/ghostwriters were in strike I fear

According to her fans it’s just an appetizer, real album dropping soon🦄🎀

It's bad and relies on cheap sampling and lazy production which makes it very generic. The only catchy parts are the samples because these songs are catchy. Her verses about ops, money and whatever designer are very repetitive at this point in her career.

She lost her mojo and her mind in 2017, when she saw other female rappers dominating the charts. Anyone expecting her to release something of value in 2023 is delusional. Her music is so formulaic, repetitive and expected that it could be done by an AI at this point

It was just released :bibliahh:

But if anything went wrong, it is due to one of these:

- Lazy samples

- Predictable lyrics about how these b*tches are her sons

- Uninspired collabs

- Working with a predator like Dr Luke

- Onika's bad attitude in general

So you agree it's front loaded just because of fans mass buying?

She has a few singles on here...the album is just too bloated.

She could have cut 10-12 songs and have something good

it's half-assed, from the lazy samples, tired beats and occasional off-beat rapping to old dated songs (the drake & future collabs).

there's a cute EP hidden there with big diff, cowgirl, forward from trini... sfg & pink friday girls i guess with some polishing).

She saw all the other newcomers trying to secure a hit with samples and decided to do nothing but compete with that, it appears. The lack of quality with the samples really makes this album more of a joke and a trend chasing failure. Queen was miles and miles better than PF2 and Nicki actually gave us some original catchy content. There’s nothing that good on PF2, unfortunately.
