jakeisphat Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 It's just aging. The moment I started my career in 2021 after college, I have not appreciated the essence of holidays at all. It's not that I don't want to appreciate them - Halloween alone is one of my favorite themes, but working 9-5 (and sometimes on the weekends depending on what needs done) makes time go by too quick to actually acknowledge the season. I need to marry an old ass, wrinkly-ball, dried up dick rich man and call it a day - maybe then I'll have the time to appreciate the holiday seasons.
