EPS 2023

 I was going to add these to my album list but I have quite a few albums to shout out so I decided to separate them and demote miss BB/Ang3l to EP. Sorry Tinashe!

Quite a few really good eps mostly from newer artists that I'm looking forward to hearing more from in the future except Addison who is retired to me at the moment. Angel EP continues the excellence of her previous album and Magdalena Bay quench our thirsts after their excellent 2021 debut album.

Bambii was on quite a few Kelela Raven tracks so I was happy to hear her own lead music which was a lot of fun and an easy pick for epoty till I demoted miss Tinashe.

BB/Ang3l is such a good album ep :fonso: especially the singles whew. The length made me mad initially but I'm hopeful for a 2nd album in 2024.

ALBUMS 2023

:-* I have 69 fave albums to share with you all this year. Hope you like something here

Okay instead of writing on each album because sometimes my thoughts on an album are as simple as "it slaps", I'll just write on each group of three. I contemplated using bing AI but chile that's a mess. Miss Bill Gates needs to get it together and copy chatgpt right. JFDR's 3rd album is a cutie sadly not as good her 2020 album "New Dreams" but I love these sleepy ambient pop records so of course. Pearly Drops got payola'd so hard for me on spotify and I finally caved and listened to this album with the weird cover. Surprisingly really good and ethereal pop music. Last but of course not the least is Taylor's 1989 tv version which kinda reawakened the swiftie in me. The eras tour movie also really helped to connect with this. It's not that she improved the songs much except for the highlights like Out Of The Woods and Style but just the nostalgia of the great era 1989 was

Highlights from each: Air Unfolding, Kiss Away the Pearly Drops, Slut!

Maybe You're The Problem made me completely switch on miss Ava and I really saw her vision for great classic pop music. Glad the album was really good with some amazing standouts. Tension was a bit disappointing but sorry an album with Padam Padam and Tension just can't not make my list this year. Last is a sleeper from January which really fit the mood and I'm glad to see miss Nicole getting better

Highlights from each: One of Us, Padam Padam, Runnin' Free

Bambii, NewJeans, Addison, Hemlocke and MagBay on the EP list :clap3:... and Tinashe too :eli:

Also Kylie queen! Tension was indeed a bit disappointing but it still has some great tracks! Need to listen to the Nicole and JFDR album a bit more.

1989 OG is her best album IMO, I feel like the rerecording didn't add much, but it surely deserve a bit better than 67 :monkey:

Maybe miss Tinashe should've been demoted from the list entirely x

Happy to see 1989 and Tension here. Excited for the rest :duca:
