Billboard may very may well make next week the most chaotic week on stan Twitter ever if they slash her sales because of the price rule :hippo:

That's a great debut. Taylor sets up an illusion that these are mid numbers because her's are an anomaly/colossal, but like 95% of the Western industry isn't doing 200k in this day and age.:rip:

Nicki haters (me) lost!

So ******* corny.

Just admit you’re having a meltdown and keep it moving :ahh:

INSANE numbers :clap3:

Lets hope not too much is filtered by Billboard’s shady agenda, but regardless congratulations to the queen of rap :clap3:

The power of having 20+ versions of the album and $5 discounts during the first week. :clap3:

If this is true, get ready for the meltdowns.

But will this affect her numbers that much?

Wow, If she had a proper album rollout she probably could've cleared 300k easily :deadbanana4:

Who else had to discount their album to $5 during release week? Quickly.

Congratulations to Nicki! :clap3:Will her husband and son be able to attend the celebration party at the same time?

Discounting is only one tactic - my point still stands that multiple artists are using a variety of tactics to help their numbers. It doesn't matter what tactic is used, MULTIPLE artists are using them. Since you want to play dumb all of a sudden, your fave is a prime example of using all available tactics (thanks @lgaga1fan :heart2:).

Reputation:

- encouraged fans to buy multiple albums in order to get presale access

- had ticketmaster partner with her to create this system that tracked every individual sale of the album in order to leverage her chart potential

- the tour didnt even sell out instantaneously like the Eras tour so this system really showed how it was created in order to help her maximize its chart potential

- took the album off of streaming entirely for weeks in order to maximize its charting potential

Lover:

- released with 4 exclusive target albums

- gave presale access to her tour early for fans that bought the album + reputation tour tickets

- released SEVERAL remixes of Cruel Summer this year alone in order to push it over to #1

Midnights:

- encouraged fans to buy the album and merch for the album in order to get access to the tour presale

- discounted singles to maximize chart points and positions

Evermore:

- discounted willow for a chance at securing #1

- Released extensive remixes for willow in order to get it to chart high

Folklore:

- Had 16 variants (CD + Vinyl) available for purchase release week that didn't even ship out til months later

I mean 16 VARIANTS is INSANE but whatever :ahh:

So now what? :ahh:

So... didn't answer my question. But I am the first to call out Taylor's obsession with capitalism and charts.

But "my fave" never sent money to her fans to buy her albums. That is probably the most embarrassing tactic I've seen so far. :deadbanana2:

I don't know why anyone is surprised. Nicki has always been A list.

And you're not getting my point - a chart tactic is a chart tactic. So do we need to start ranking the tactics in order of which one is the most scandalous like I don't get it? :deadbanana2:

You quoted me, mama. I think your fave's tactics are embarrassing (and apparently so does Billboard). Dassit.

Oop, 16 variants (CD + Vinyl) - I've edited, but my point still stands along with everything else above that :deadbanana2:

Nicki could release 100 variants, she still wouldn't open with 500k :rip:

Half of the things you listed had absolutely no impact but whatever :skull:

I don't know why people are trying to drag Nicki's numbers. They're obviously very flattering considering the album will plummet in no time with those weak streaming numbers

When did I say she would? :deadbanana:

My point was to prove Taylor is one of MANY artists who use chart tactics. Again,  it's only an issue when Nicki does it.

Even if everything you said was true, Nicki doing all of this and still failed to outsell Fearless TV. Maybe choose another artist to pick on because I'm not sure you'll want to start comparisons with Taylor

Honestly good for her :clap3: Perch for those week 2 numbers though :foxaylove3:
