I can’t at people claiming she can’t do stadiums. Madonna herself said she hates doing stadiums because her production value is always above what an open air can provide and she is still probably petty and hates the S&S tour stadium experiences because there were so many wrong things happening stage wise.

Of course she would sell out stadiums in a blink of an eye, like, who even doubts that?

Her previous “tour” was just theaters being a proof of her hating larger audiences for a single show.

She’s already a billionaire so why contradict what you want for yourself as an artist? Some of you acting here like she has something more to prove.

Who is saying that?

London 90k

Paris 62k

Amsterdam 32k

Barcelona 35k

Stockholm 39k

Whoever is saying that is rather stupid because these are stadium numbers already.

Yeah.

If she sells out the arenas at these expensive prices this well, she could sell out stadiums smoothly at ease. The demand is still high. The theater shows  was done only by her will.

It was something she wanted to do always. Something intimate with fans.

This tour is doing  so well in arenas too.

Im so happy for her

I mean she did 22 mililion in the UK and 10 milion in Paris...I'd say she's still part of the game but simply chose arenas :rip: Her Mexican shows have sold enough tickets for 2 stadium dates here.

I know and I said her numbers are very healthy, but she still clearly declined from the top. Not a bad thing necessarily. Just an observation.

She was easily the #1 touring female artist in the 80s, 90s, and 00s but she began declining after MDNA tour wrapped up. This tour is clearly gonna do better than RHT but that's mainly because of the touring industry bloom, inflation and the fact that its a greatest hits tour etc.

I mean, she grossed $22m in London with even fewer tickets sold with Confession in 2006 (not adjusted for inflation).

Also we have to keep in mind she's been doing tours for 38 years now. Every tour she said "this is the last time I do this" and then when a new tour comes out she's like "I'm doing a new tour because I hate myself" so I can see why she doesn't want stadiums, but she knew demand for this tour would be beyond what theatres can handle.

My sis.

No she never said that whenever she went on tour.

She never said any tour would become the last. She ain't Cher.

Last year she said she missed being on stage because she's a showgirl.

Fans just say that the tour will be the last, though she didn't.

Not to mention, this tour as,well.

Some fans underestimate her and keep saying she will quit touring after this.

No surprise that they keep pushing her down.

This has been a return to form after the years of very late start times and injuries. For the first time in a while it seems shes happy on stage again. We also had those awful performances at eurovision/billboard awards etc that harmed her reputation. So if anything its not a decline but a progress from where she was.

Also shes been touring for 40 years, everyone who really wanted to see Madonna has had the opportunity (in major markets)

Beyonce has already showed signs she is slowing down and shes at the equivalent at Drowned world tour. Theres no way shes gonna have 5/6 more tours on her and Taylor is doing her greatest hits tours at 30s.

So in 5-6 years I have my bets that Madonna will still be touring in her 70s but not these other pop girls

So around ~ $3m average per arena show. Healthy numbers but clearly Taylor & Bey are the face of the female touring game nowadays. She had a great run on top though.

Madonna does Arenas because she cares about the audience and the show.

Agreed.

People forget madonna was a professional and ballet dancer beforehand.

She's born to be a performer and won't change.

Though less choreography, she won't quit because she ain't a quitter like she said last month on stage.

Please show me a tour where Madonna promoted it as the last time she would be doing this lmao

Yes because they are avoiding facts like the plague, of course.
