but I’m glad I left Maryland tbh… like I understand why my mom wanted to raise the five of us (i’m the youngest of five kids lol) there: best public schools in the f*cking country, incredible diversity, a competitive climate so that all five of us would be overachievers. however, it’s just not quite a pleasant place to live in long-term at the end of the day  thus, the west was my calling. I do wanna visit my birthplace again soon though, I miss my sister who lives in NW now and my parents and a few childhood friends…
