Oh no, I'm totally on her side in the Kanye situation.

 

I just meant that the bad girl persona she adopted for this era ended up being this weird ironic thing where she was basically saying "they say i'm bad but i didn't do anything". Justified or not, it's definitely not "goth-punk female rage", neither anything truly controversial. I just think that she should embrace reputation for what it was instead of trying to create this new narrative.

The aesthethic of the album is clearly influenced by goth and punk styles Dont see the wrong thing here
Those styles cover a wide range of things.  Yeah the music was far from pop punk or goth.
It was electropop and synthpop with some dubstep,industrial,electroclash,techno,urban vibes,
I think she was refering to the aesthethic
