Venice B Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 People really don't have anything better to be mad at is2g
chiliam Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Enflish is not my 1st language and im quite bad at it, and have to google translate half of the article. But even then i can still realize she is not serious with that quote lol. You guys are insane. 2 2
Jay07 Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Frankly, I think her brand of repeatedly trivializing feminism and the patriarchal social structure over a petty celebrity feud with Kim K and Kanye is a lot more offensive than her delusions about being punk or whatever. 4 3 1
byzantium Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 OTHs spend more time obsessing over her than actual fans and then they have the audacity to criticize parasocial relationship of her fans. Seems like they might be projecting. 4
beyonceparkwood Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Why are people being so serious about this? Didn't even know goth-punk still had this many fans. Anyways, I'm sure Taylor just meant goth-punk's historic nature challenging society's norms, not Reputation being goth-punk genre-wise.
Cleanromantic Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Not 6 pages for this . Sorry OTH, but it's never going to end .
Mezik Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 People offended or mad at her by this should touch grass and find something better to do with their time.

I just meant that the bad girl persona she adopted for this era ended up being this weird ironic thing where she was basically saying "they say i'm bad but i didn't do anything". Justified or not, it's definitely not "goth-punk female rage", neither anything truly controversial. I just think that she should embrace reputation for what it was instead of trying to create this new narrative. 1

Achilles. Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 She’s hilarious and camp. Are you not entertained? 1

Feanor Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 The absolute fumes here. Taylor gets people riled up so easily, her power is crazy. 1
BloodLuster Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 well if ATRL and twitter cupcakes pretend that sour is some kind of heavy metal album then why rep cannot be punk 1

AvadaKedavra Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 (edited) The aesthethic of the album is clearly influenced by goth and punk styles Dont see the wrong thing here Those styles cover a wide range of things. Yeah the music was far from pop punk or goth. It was electropop and synthpop with some dubstep, industrial, electroclash, techno, urban vibes, I think she was refering to the aesthethic Edited December 7, 2023 by AvadaKedavra 1
