As if this makes her less cringe :rip: Drudging up six year old drama to sell maximize sells of her re-recording. The David Zazlov of pop strikes again

The way people downvote you even tho ur analyzing the strategy perfectly... lol

Puta The Re Up already controversial!

Posted

The way no one picks up on sarcasm anymore :skull: She called it her “most metal album” in a joking way at a concert too, she’s clearly exaggerating

I feel like she meant the image and not so much the music. But go awf. She should've used a different phrase though.

she def meant the esthetics of the album, her attitude overall during the era

she knows damn well none of the songs are punk nor goth

Purposely taking her words out of context to make her look stupid when she was making a joke :rip: don’t yall get exhausted creating fake reasons to be mad

They’ve got nothing else, they’re in shambles!

As if half of y'all listen to goth punk though. :gaycat6:

Sweetheart, clearly you have never heard a punk or goth music. Because in what way is Reputation

Punk

Spoiler

Goth

or  Goth Punk

Spoiler

Tell me, because nothing on Reputation visually and sonically aligns with goth or punk.

are people really thinking she meant the album is sonically goth-punk when she said that? :skull: are y'all intentionally obtuse

Right :ahh:

Weirdly enough the first person I thought of when I read that part of the interview was Björk. It sounds just like the way Björk describes each "character" for each of her albums.

Petition for Taylor and Björk to interview each other!

Oh, no. She upset people that would never buy a Taylor album anyways. :gaycat4: And in turn, she got them talking about her, increasing her reach. :clap3:

she's insane i'm telling you

Mind you this is the same interview where she did the whole “are you not entertained?” bit. Like, I swear, some people are just completely blind to her personality somehow. She brought her ******* cat to the photoshoot, of course she was being tongue-in-cheek, like

It’s the same people who for years discredit her because she doesn’t act like a porn star on stage. It’s like pop stars can’t be fun or cheesy 💀

Not sabotaging it at all, she is inciting the parasocial relationship with her stans with these statements in order to keep the money flowing.

She might aswell pull a Beyoncé after this interview, she's just so full of herself, her fans who find her 'relatable' don't deserve so much mess coming from her s:wan:

Honey you don't need to be telling me this. You kinda missed my point.

Of course reputation ain't no damn punk or goth. It's literally no even the "dark pop" album ATRL been pushing it as for years.

I'm just calling out the girls in here acting upset as if they listen to or care about punk!

Love White Lung by the way, Paradise was bop after bop after bop.

Not that she really said anything wrong, but if I were her I would just go the Beyoncé route and stop giving interviews / speaking. At this point people will look for something to quote her or drag her over and I feel like her saying anything will ultimately work against her.
