What do you think? Is Reputation truly a goth-punk moment of female rage? Or is Taylor lying and these tweets made several points?

Discuss.

She's a musician, she should know the difference between mainstream pop and punk.

That's what a poser would say :priceless:

Maybe she will be re-recording the entire album to the point of scrapping all the tracks and putting new ones in their place. She can’t possibly be referring to the same album :clown:

I feel like she meant the image and not so much the music. But go awf. She should've used a different phrase though.

No lies detected! I too, have only seen the light recently and can now appreciate the mastery of Reputa' that I couldn't fully process when it came out. :jonnycat:

There’s nothing wrong with pointing out that the quote is largely exaggerated for the sake of seeming “deep” after being selected as Person of the Year.

no one in the world would consider Reputation a goth punk era because she maybe work black lipstick once(?) or something.

It’s not like those tweets are trying to cancel her or anything

Taylor is lying, again, so she can promote her next re-recording and create drama, whilst diluting the artistic and political merits of the art and artists she wants to align herself to. AGAIN.

It's not a goth-punk, it's pop and embarrassing. it's baffling how her rabbid fans can't see the fakeness of TS

you know what it never was? that serious
