Elon Musk warns Taylor Swift: your backlash era/popularity decline might be imminent

I do worry a little that there are so many people praying on her downfall. After the tour I feel like she will not take a break and will comtinue releasing new music, but I think she should adopt a folklore/evermore era approach to them. If you have to put out music, let it speak for itself for a while and give the GP a chance to catch their breaths.

I’m shocked he wasn’t being a misogynist for once. He’s just poking a little fun and making the joke about himself for once. Can’t believe I’m defending Elon Musk this is so weird.

If i were Taylor i would take a break after the tour and dissapear for some time....Then some months later or year later come with another surprise album as good as Folklore-Evermore with the Joe heartbreak lyrics.  Dont promote it that much. Just leave it there. Hope there are some pop rock tracks there.

Then 1 year later come with a new pop album  but go real hard on this one. Something very fun and different? Clubby? Disco? dont know :gaycat4:

Then dissapear again and for T13 Come with a Visual Album and something very artsy and some sort of magnum opus

It's not really ... that wrong. And I hate to admit that. She may have reached her MJ-in-1992 and Madonna-in-1990 peak. And she got her fans to re-buy her back catalog as well as two new records and then sell out a massive tour all over the world.

The thing that's so ironic about Swifties so excited about her approaching MJ status is that that level of fame is ultimately what destroyed him. Icarus never made it to the sun.

People are desperate for Taylor to bottom but she’s shown time after time that she’s a power top. :gayriahcat3:

I don’t want Taylor to ever disappear (definitely not next 5-6 years). Just keep releasing albums, strike the iron when it’s hot.

It's weird how she increased her popularity despite being already super successful. Not everyone can do that.

P.S. Not a fan.

Well, Taylor never spent $44b because of a game of chicken with a group meme edgelords, so there’s that.

It's a different time now. What killer MJ was not his success but the way the media scrutinized his every moves at some point.

You talk about her more than her fans do, while accusing them of obsession. Does that strike you as normal?

I do? I've made a handful of posts in the last, I don't know, three days. Thanks for being a fan though.

It was a cacophony of things to ruined Michael, but they all stem from the height of his fame. To any Swiftie who did not live through the period in time when Michael was making music or the major fallout from the documentary and second trial... you don't want Taylor as famous as he was. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

Elon's popularity declined bc he's a terrible person :rip:

And his decline started before this award when he called the Thai rescue diver a pedo.

I mean no one stays at the top forever. They build you up just to take you down. This always happens. As long as it's not a nasty fall like reputation, she will be fine. We all saw how much that scandal affected her and took her years to recover mentally.

@Taylor fanboy quickly link this to reputation.

Elon Musk is the new Daniel Ek (Spotify CEO) in this elaborate reputation promo.

UGH let’s go!!!

The thing about her though is she already had one and look what we're at now barely years after.

Unlike his musty tech ass.

Well, i think this time she can pivot if she does get overexposed again.

She can take a break but she can also get into other arenas professionally or personally and then set herself up for another comeback.

After 2024, she can make that move and the timing would be ideal.

He’s right, I’m sick of hearing about her she needs a break away from the limelight

Once you peak a decline is natural, it happens all the time. I assume it will be when she hits a billion net worth

Of course i want to see her success.

But i wouldnt mind a minor celeb drama like the Kimye thing to get her semi-cancelled again. So the next tour ticket can be a bit easier.

He’s right for once. There will be an inevitable downfall. There always is.

Not really. Her father Bruce Springsteen is still able to hit number one in 15+ countries or at least top 3 with every album he releases

I think Taylor will be alright even in a “decline era” :dies:

No, I think she's more of a Trump figure for her fans, they will support her no matter what to the point of deluding themselves she's more impactful that Madonna and MJ, just like Trump's cult still claims he won the election.

They're so invested in her and so much of their identity revolves around her being #1, they will never accept anything less or their fragile self-image will crumble. You see it when the same people go through the entire board and religiously downvote every mildly critical post about her. Does that strike you as normal?

You seem like you're projecting :ahh:

OT: Been there  done that, Taylor is an extremely smart woman and she always knows how to turn something bad into a great opportunity.
