Anyways / in any case she should stop being openly desperate for acclaim. The more desperate she is openly, the less likely they will give it to her (since that damages the prestige of those major awards). The best tactic is to hide that desire and pretend to not give fucks — and do the lobbying in the background. Use all that backchannel via hubby Ben Affleck and his bud Matt Damon. Not make speeches that amount to "please please gimme some". That is beneath her and she also sends the wrong message by her behaviour (that an artist is worthless unless they have this or that award).

I understand what you’re trying to say, but that’s based off the click baity bits that press used. In her full speech she actually made it a whole point that the awards don’t or shouldn’t matter, since her longevity says enough. It also goes on that she’s always been seen as someone that cannot do X and X and X at the same time, yet she’s clearly evidenced that she can, without said awards in pocket (which is about the only thing the press took from her speech cause it gives them clicks $$).

She has massive success on a worldwide scale, she’s even done the superbowl and it was amazing btw!

 

Think about it this way, Madonna didn’t win any Grammys nor VMAs until Ray of light I believe. It doesn’t mean she wasn’t good because she was smashing.

 

And so is JLo she’s smashing but the truth is that she didn’t have her Ray of Light yet if that makes any sense.

 

That being said her first two singles deserved all the Grammys in the world
