just stand your ground. you are there to work, the ceo thinks your contributions are important. thats all that matters. who cares what your coworkers say? they are probably jealous

thats life i guess. you can try to get along but if it doesnt work out than thats just a pill to swallow. im sure theres other employees that work there where you can maybe bond with if you feel left out.

Get yourself an Android phone and you'll be respected.

I've had the same problem for most of my life, people hate high achievers

Just own it and embrace your controversial persona :suburban:

tbh i asked myself if its because i consequentially place pressure on my coworkers to perform better by doing my best but this is so antithetical being taught to shoot for the stars growing up

like am i supposed to dim my candle so others dont feel threatened :emofish:

Well maybe it’ll be smarter to still do your job in the best way while still maintaining a relatively low profile, if possible. Good connections with co-workers are important.

I think I am going to try taking this direction. But I often am not scared to voice my opinions when things can get very yesman-y and it feels tough staying authentic to myself if I let my values slide to keep the peace. Yes there are ways to say it without offending people..

I work in Marketing also, but I’ve never had this issue. My team might be different from yours though, as we all have our own sectors. I’m in charge of designing email campaigns and printed materials such as posters, leaflets and the occasional logo design. Another colleague of mine handles our social media channels, another does SEO and analytics and I work alongside another woman who also helps with the email campaigns, but she mostly does the backend stuff like segmenting and running A/B testing etc - so I never feel like anybody is stepping on anybody’s toes.

If I receive any criticism on my design work, it always feels professional and constructive and I never get offended by it.

Thought this was gonna be about that one user obsessed with his coworker.

people are always jealous of others that are passionate about their job and being recognised for it so as long as you’re doing your job and it makes u happy pay them no mind

Well you seem to look down on people for idiotic reasons so I am sure you are difficult to deal with in real life too.

Stop being a c word, do your work for yourself and stop boasting. You are a cog in the machine just like everyone else.
