I never congratulated Taylor for becoming a billionaire anywhere near this thread, I just exposed your distasteful “joke”. it’s still distasteful and I’m amazed it’s even allowed at all on this website.

I’m happy for how this means that she’s been able to connect with so many people - being the first billionaire with your own music as the primary source of income is impressive in terms of scale, and it says something about her popularity.

 

Nonetheless, billionaires should not exist - I believe with every fiber of my being that wealth and income inequality is one of the biggest issues in the world right now, if not the biggest. Taylor has done some great things with her money like the bonuses she gave out to the Eras tour crew, so I hope that one day, she does more great things with this wealth. I personally believe that she is someone with the kind of moral compass to guide her to use this wealth for good.
