Why is it such a brag that her songs only become real hits after months of playlisting and radio? Did she lie though? A lot of her singles are carried by longevity, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Houdini does become a longevity hit, and isn’t Houdini still strong on European iTunes Charts and Apple Music

Warner will never stop spending money on her. She's their biggest female artist and they struggled to find a female pop behemoth for a very long time after Madonna left them for Interscope. There's no chance they'll stop investing in her

I will say that I'm surprised Houdini didn't coast to the US top ten on sheer momentum. It's a disco type song & not that huge of a departure from FN. The people really just straight up said no.
