4th Time Around Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 (edited) I attended both tours and had lots of fun at each, Renaissance blows Eras out of the water. Better setlist flow, better stage design, better outfits and Beyonce's superior stage presence. Edited December 3, 2023 by 4th Time Around
RIKI232 Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Two different concepts and vibe, but i have to go with Reni
Big Bad Wolf Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 'Eras' Tour is bland. Beyonce is more artistic. All the success in the world cannot make Taylor the better artist. 2 1

Bimbo Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Renaissance Tour easily. Beyonce’s tour appears to have been created with the better fan experience in mind (amazing vocals, top notch choreography, fully developed performance skills) while Eras tour gives me nothing of this (they literally didn’t care about fan experience since Tay also didn’t bother trying to hit the notes wtf).
Comedor Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 I went to both. Renaissance is better in terms of choreography, vocals, costumes and stage prop. No comparison there. One thing nice about Eras is that Taylor plays pretty much all her hit singles in full, that’s attractive to GP. On the other hand, Renaissance has a trimmed CIL, no signs of Irreplaceable, Halo, Baby Boy, DC3 etc. Music wise it’s whatever you like best. Overall I give it to Beyonce.
Donquizote Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Beyonce doesn't sing and dance anymore. At least Taylor still trying with out of this world production. So Eras won by default. 1 1

Relampago. Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 (edited) I attended both and loved both— amazing shows. Overall, I’d give it to Renaissance though. The Eras tour was such a perfectly crafted concept and set list that took me through my time of loving Taylor’s music, starting all the way back to when I loved Our Song/YBWM at 7 years old. The way I felt waves of nostalgia walking through the career of one of the biggest artists of all time, and got to relive so many amazing memories was something I’ll never forget. The Renaissance Tour however is something that I don’t know how anyone will top for me. The love letter to queer people and the dedication to every single detail to make sure that vision was executed perfectly… amazing. I’m typically pretty reserved at concerts, but the energy that night was electric. I felt seen and free and able to be myself, dancing and singing at the top of my lungs to an artist who I did not stan prior to this album. The set list, the visuals, the performance, the energy, everything was amped up to a 10. Even the mistakes, since my date was the one where the audio went out for Alien Superstar, were turned on their heads as she came out in a new outfit and performed even more ferociously than before. Absolutely stunning and incredible. Her ending with a picture of herself and Uncle Johnny was a perfect emotional note to end such an exhilarating show with. An actually life changing show that made me proud to be queer and unafraid to be myself even if for only a night. Astounding. Edited December 4, 2023 by Relampago. 1

Jay07 Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Beyonce is a much better performer and the aesthetics of her show are so much more refined. Production values, choreography, props, lighting, costumes, it's clear it has been crafted by someone with an artistic vision who has been doing this for a very long time.
Just a Gay on ATRL Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 I saw both movies in theaters and actually attended the Renaissance tour. I missed my chance to go to the Eras tour. However after seeing both films, I definitely preferred the Renaissance concert. That one blew my mind.
