ttsmu Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 If you attended (or watched in theaters) both tours which one is the best one and why. Discuss. 3
Badgalbriel Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 The eras tour is just on another level. Ren is good too, though. 3 7 2 5
Solaria Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 I love both for different reasons, but the Renaissance Tour was a once in a lifetime artistic statement. Never have I ever felt so loved and seen by a live performance like that, it was magical. Taylor’s tour is so great because it’s really more of a testatement to how a woman can connect with so many people through her music. Her way with words and emotions is something none of her peers have been able to match. So while I do love both, Renny does take the crown for me on a personal level. The thought process behind that tour (the nods to past black musicians and LGBTQ figures alone) makes it tour of the year for me 4 2
Kasix Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 (edited) Eras will outgross any artists, any acts or bands’ entire touring career total, other than the rolling stone just FYI. edited. Edited December 3, 2023 by Kasix
TayDuaStan Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 (edited) Eras Tour I personally don’t care about Beyonce at all (I think i know like 2-3 songs of hers at most) and her tour just doesn’t interest me at all. But if i have to compare, Eras tour easily. Taylor’s tour appears to have been created with the better fan experience in mind (side screens, all the stadium screens working, stage design, price of the tickets, setlist) while Ren tour gives me nothing of this (they literally didn’t care about fan experience since Bey also sold listening only tickets wtf). BtDecember Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Oooh another Swifties vs. the rest of ATRL I see 1

The RS has grossed 3 Billion unadjusted for inflation 5 Billion adjusted. Eras will put her career close to them unadjusted. Both massive smash tours, I personally prefer eras as I’m a swiftie so I prefer the music. But Renaissance was a showstopping masterpiece. I’ve watched both in the cinema, so maybe the live experience is different though.

She-Rah Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Renaissance actually requires talent for singing and dancing, the other option is a glorified high school musical level of cheap and talentless flat off-key singing by a basic performer with no physical rhythm or singing abilities who has the charisma of a groundhog. 8 5 4 3
Dear Reader Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 My personal favorite is The Eras Tour. I've grown with Taylor Swift eras throughout my life, so having a Tour that celebrates all of them in one show is kind of a dream for a Swiftie. However, I have to say that after having watched the Renaissance Tour movie, I was completely blown away by Beyoncé's performance. She's a 42 year old black woman and she's out there selling out stadiums and working her ass off. Both incredible women that deserve to be celebrated
on the line Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Eras Tour by far. It's swept the world by storm from the elderly to politicians writing desperate public letters begging Taylor to lift their countries out of poverty. Runny will be forgotten by its next album; Eras will be remembered. 1 1 1

Caribbean Boy Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 The swifties not understanding the question and bing delulu in this thread is not surprising to me, anyways Renaissance 3 1 4
byzantium Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Taylor and Beyonce are two legends who have unapologetically left their massive mark on music and the culture at large. These two tours both showcase these two legends and what makes them the most influential female artists of the 21st century. There is no one “objective” best tour. It will come down to personal preference. [though I am sure this thread will devolve into petty Stan wars regardless]
Brooklyn Baby Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Another "Praise your fav and drag the other" thread. We are tired
Steve Johnson Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 The Eras tour is the best tour of the century. No competition at all. 2 1 1
alexrex Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Im a fan of great vocalists, dancers and performers when I go to a tour. So you know which one 3
naval23 Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Renaissance had culture and iconic "mute" moments 1
John Slayne Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 The Celebration Tour is better than both but out of the two, Bey wins easily. Taylor's tour looks lowkey cheap and she's not a good performer. people go because they like her songs and want to sing along 2
Into The Void Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Well I haven't been to either so objectively I can't say
