Apparently not, looks like 14-15€ (w/tax) for standard and IMAX is about 20-21€ (with booking fee). That's kinda shitty :deadbanana4:

Oh that’s not that bad.  I hope the lower prices next week. I would like to see it but I just cannot justify spending $30 for one movie.

Miley really has the movie with the second fewest theaters to hit number one of all time. Wow.

My fave's star power is so underrated, imagine successfully convince people to pay $15 for a concert movie in the year of 2008. No one but her. :jonny:

No, Dolby is always experiencing a surcharge. I'm in the chicagoland area. Her tickets were $19.89 everywhere I was looking (I never ended up seeing) but dolby was always more expensive, around $25-26.

They don't ever charge Dolby and regular tickets the same price.

Oh, you're right. I'm looking at my receipt now. I think I was confusing when I bought it at Pacific Science Center, which was $19.89 exactly.

Just to put it in context, average cinema prices in Portugal are around 7euros even Marvel and Disney usually charge this much. We paid 15euros per ticket for this. It's too high a price.

I don't get why you guys are mad that the numbers were reported. Did y'all plan to keep the bad numbers hidden or something? Accept that the numbers are bad and move on, Jesus.

How is it bad when it has the second-best opening weekend for a December release in history + the movie is already in top 5/6 of highest grossing concert movies of all-time??

In before "bbbbbbbbbut compared to Eras tour", Swifties need to stop making everything about their fav :rip:

I was going off Cineworld, in London. It's not surprising it's that high, but damn.

It's not so much about the numbers per se, it's who it's coming from and by extension, why it's coming from them, and then the overall reaction this creates and the inevitable debate both sides engage in as evidenced by the fact that this thread was created 2 hours ago and already has 11 pages.

To put this in persecutive the thread titled "Renaissance Film smashing at the Box Office (huge record breaker)" was opened nearly 30 hours ago and has 2 pages. So we have to wonder, what motives are present here that were not present in other threads?

You say to accept the numbers and move on. Why have you not asked that the other people in this thread take in the numbers and move on, too?

Meanwhile Giselle charging $22.00 for no reason.

It was too high. I asked a few friends who would otherwise come but they all balked when they saw the price. I dragged my boyfriend lol and we loved it and would have seen it again but not for this price.

I'm guessing to cover for the costs of the tour too? It's so expensive though :dies:

I have no dog in this fight, but if ya really wanna clown on the beyhive, make a title like “was Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus peak bigger than Beyoncé’s peak” when her Opening week total comes out and finishes lower than them

But that's the case for every girl lol. The thread that said that Ana's family denied Taylor having contacted her had 15+ pages in a couple of hours. The thread confirming that Taylor was in touch with them since the moment the tragedy happened has 2 pages...

It's just the way this forum works....

One thing I learned about swifties. They’ll downvote anything you say that’s not the same as their pov, just to feel better about themselves. Insufferable at its finest.

The fact that they have no respect whatsoever for a woman that’s been around for 27 years, a woman that your own fave respects very much… it only goes to show they are truly narcissists. I’m sure Bey sleeps good at night knowing she had another amazing era, a highly acclaimed tour and a very well thought and directed film.

Why do you guys keep up with this narrative that you don't care about numbers when you're here in a 11-page thread fighting everyone about said numbers?

Have I been doing that?

Weren’t you the one who was spreading lies after lies about Anna’s incident without even knowing the full story dragging Tay for no reason? Sit down.

i really hate to be that guy but there's something so sinister feeling about the rabid fanbase of white america's poster girl being so gleeful in attempting to tarnish the legacy of a self made black woman that stays in her lane and beyond that has unnecessarily associated taylor with her events to keep people at bay. there is a reason taylor is able to so easily succeed with less than 10% of the graft Bey has put into her career and it is NOT the quality of the output.

THEY SMASHED THIS DISLIKE BUTTON HEAVY. Babe you know talks of YT supremacy on this forum is not received well. It's like shouting BLM at a Trump Rally. :rip: But you brave for standing up though not being silenced. Glad to see people say this because back in the day on ATRL saying this would result in an immediate banning. I think if this forum gets a regular influx in new users, five years from now this won't be a controversial take.

Bey has reported success and the first thing Swifties do is sit on their asses and look for numbers and news to "humble" and devalue Bey. Its so toxic and such a covert form.of racism. Literally sickening.

Ok, Miley had the highest opening among movies with under 1000 theatres, which is even more impressive.

Wasn't Spongebob released during the lockdown or something? anything doing >$500k was going #1 back then. There were very few theatres available. :rip:

They definitely set her up with that projection. What made them think it'd have a 50-50 split? :rip:

This is not success. This is more expensive that the other concert films yet still debuted with lower box office numbers.

I know this is a total flop overseas when on opening weekend on our city's cinema, it struggled to even fill 1/10th of the theater. And it's the Philippines, a country who allegedly loves Beyoncé.

How is it not successful in the US when it had the biggest opening weekend after Thanksgiving in 20 years? :rip:

Those reports came first and now u eagerly looked and waited for news to devalue Bey

So if you understand how ATRL works, why are you telling Beyoncé fans to "move on" when they engage in a thread clearly intended to demean her?

With the ticket price, it should've debuted with bigger opening numbers. And she's the more popular and beloved pop star in the US.

Firstly, I did not spread any lies. I stated what happened at that time!

Secondly, stay on topic. This thread is about Bey and her “struggled” film.
