Selena's latest single "Single Soon" was released on August 25th. It has never left the biggest and most impactful Spotify playlist since then. Despite the big support the song accumulated only 115M streams, what went wrong?

 

It's currently getting <800k daily and charting in 0 countries despite TTH.

It's a very nice song. She needs to release album with Bad Liar, Fetish, Wolves, Back To You and now Single Soon. It would be her best album based on these 5 singles alone

Used To Be Young was dropped from Today's Top Hits playlist a month ago already while Single Soon is still on the playlist and is having in 2 times more playlisting since the day 1. Single Soon was #1 on Today's Top Hits, Miley's song never was #1 on any big playlist and even despite that it outsold and outccharted

Used to be young has really huge radio payola x2 than selena's despite streams or sales are bad too. Neither are doing great. Miley's charting higher because of radio only. It's Top 5 on Pop radio but out of top 100 of Spotify and AM.

with it being a poppy pop song (atrl thinks is the best kind of music due to their faves 00’s nostalgia songs smashing) it will need the most push it can get for 6 months post release, as it’ll end up completely forgotten.
