Deuxmoi responds to Tree Pain & Taylor Swift with low blow, references deceased fan

If taylor is over that Brit why is mentioning their relationship the same as trauma?

It has been explained here multiple times that Deuxmoi was talking about Taylor having a miscarriage in 2022 and that's the reason why Joe ditched her. Tree decided to reply to the marriage one in order to not shine a light on the other topic.

Did you just enter a thread and comment before reading the comments on the first page or did you just want to get your "gotcha" moment?

I think you are going to have to spell it out because literally what is disrespectful about saying, “wow, this song sounds like it’s about a miscarriage. I wonder if Taylor had a miscarriage”? That was my thought when I heard the song (which I love, by the way)! It’s a very normal reaction to wonder whether a woman who has constantly written songs about her own life might be writing about her own experience.

You keep putting words in my mouth. The logic is that Taylor has, for nearly two decades, not only written songs about her relationships, but also invited fans to decode the meaning and inserted secret messages into her work. So, yes, it’s probably set an expectation for her fans about how to receive her music — and her life. If that makes Taylor uncomfortable, then she is, at this point, probably going to have to explicitly reset those boundaries. She did just a few weeks ago with the Gaylor rumors!

Anyway, I don’t know why you keep making this about a miscarriage. The post that Tree Paine called out was about a secret marriage.

Tree called out the post about marriage clearly to avoid bringing the other topic to the news....

I don't really get why Tree would even acknowledge this to be honest. Deuxmoi is a dumpster fire full of random people sending "anon pls" blinds about things they have no clue about. Does anyone take that account seriously? If it were a real publication, that'd be one thing, but a random faceless social media account isn't who I would go to war against if I were Taylor or Tree.

As for the specific rumors, if they got married, so what? What if she had a miscarriage? 1 in 5 pregnancies end with a miscarriage. Nothing crazy about it -- let her share it on her own terms if it is real, and don't lie about it. Weird ass musty ass gossip blog.

Who actually uses deuxmoi these days anyway?

Almost everything that comes from deuxmoi is either wrong, or something we could easily predict, or some old news like the recent one suggesting Jack Antonoff won't produce the next Lorde album, which we all kinda knew a year ago.

Might have been best to ignore, as many people would never have heard the rumors without Tree getting involved.

Wow, all the sociopaths start to come out of the woodwork I see.

The only sociopath I see is Taylor Swift's old, desiccated ass traipsing around, acting as if she is God's gift to the world, and that the world should continue to spin around only her. Ever since she rereleased those shitty albums, all it's been is "me, me, me!" It's either "Taylor's version THIS" or "Taylor's version THAT," as if it hasn't been Taylor's version the entire time while the world around her burns to the ground.

And maybe we can do the same (or similar) to Tree herself:

Taylor Swift (and Tree Paine) have blood on their hands for the death of Madison "Maddie" Mogen.

It’s pretty clear Taylor is planning on suing them. Using the words “trauma and pain” is strategic because it implies measurable damages. you can’t sue unless there’s measurable damages. It’s the first step of documentation before taking legal progression. Them apologizing is admitting blame too.

A defamation suit needs to prove not only that the claim is false but that the falsehood was intentionally said with malice. There’s no way Taylor would prevail in a suit, but her lawyers can probably freak out Deuxmoi enough to leave her alone.

Deuxmoi has been so quiet since the call-out by Tree. :coffee:
