discussion our friend group of 7 left out the 1 android user in our group chat. AITA?

we want high quality images, reactions, etc. and every bubble being in that group chat blue. plus we all are a part of a Shared iCloud Photo Album.

our 1 android friend just accepted it (he owns a $2000 galaxy fold) and we just update him individually on instagram whenever something important is mentioned. he knows it would hinder the rest of us so he doesnt want to force himself into the group chat, but AITA even though i still update him 1 on 1 whenever theres an important detail? he's really cool and we all compliment him on how cool it is that his phone can fold from time to time i have nothing against him.
