Well, then they are being scammed They are basically paying £200+ for glorified karaoke. They are great studio act, but absolutely trash in a live setting... Only Nadine can sing and only Cheryl dance. The remaining two are just 'there' and there's no Sarah to shout over the rest either this time... I will stick to listen to their music lol Edited December 1, 2023 by Mr.X 2 16
Gwendolyn Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 Going to get tickets next week since that's when my paycheck comes, hope there's still some available for London by then
LadyDiana Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 I am surprised but soo happy for them. I enjoy their music
BlazingLovatic Posted December 1, 2023 Author Posted December 1, 2023 Don't know why people in here are acting as if Sugababes in 2023 are bigger than Girls Aloud Comparing theatres to arenas
DoubleRainbow! Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 of course I would pay that amount of money if only I lived in the UK

Legends aloud outsold. Doubt one member would change that much. that could be applied here since Sarah is gone and they’re still selling this much sadly ill Never see them since my dream was crushed with those 2000 round trip flights from the us.
Heartbreak Prince Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 Sugababes in 2023 consist of a QAnon spreader, a bully, and an unknown. Can’t even sell out one arena date. Tried to release a “lead” single about 3 times and they’ve all failed. Album didn’t even chart. It’s over. Leave them in the past. Legends Aloud in 2023 consist of 4 iconic ladies who have sold out an extensive arena tour within days. And of course Sarah who will always be a part of Girls Aloud. end of discussion. 1 2
Abracadabra Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 Queens Non-Brit's tend to really underestimate how iconic they are in the UK, especially to the generation now in their 20's and 30's

I went to the Out of Control tour back in the day and wanted to ask for my money back! They are basically a Live at Butlins-type of act with a bit more budget. It isn't worth it girlies £200 tickets are like VIP the most expensive tickets, standard tickets start at £59.

You can have all these stats and more and still be forgotten. And they are among the GP if we’re being honest but glad to see they still have strong fandom support 1 2

Uhm there’s many older groups that can successfully tour yet don’t actually have GP support & that’s completely fine. If they were to drop a song today it wouldn’t make any waves, it just shows that they’ve sustained a fanbase that still cares for them.

No way hun. I paid like £25 back in the day for the Out of Control tour and it was already too much for the level of 'talent' on display 1

We get it, we get it. 6 1
Gelato Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 They've always been an incredible touring force. If you go back and look at the Out of Control tour, it was 32 dates with at least 3 or 4 nights in all of the UK's biggest cities.

What sets Girls Aloud apart from pretty much every other British girl group except the Spice Girls is that everyone knows them and their hits, whether they're young or old.
